Bookish Would You Rather Tag

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. After a long hiatus, I’m back with a fun blog post. Thank you so much for the tag, Eleanor! It was fun answering the questions and I am sorry, it took me so long to get around to it. See Eleanor’s answer here and do check out her blog!

Would you rather read the last chapter of every new book first, or never read the last chapter?

I would rather read the last chapter first than to not to know how the book ends. Anyway I wouldn’t remember what I read by the time I get around to the end.

Would you have someone ruin the ending of a book for you or never finish a book you were reading?

Ruin the ending.

Would you rather lose your place or get a paper cut every time you read a book?

I would rather lose my place than deal with paper cuts every time I read a book.

Would you rather be friends with Hermione Granger or Matilda?

Hermione! But if I were given a choice I would choose Bryce Quinlan over anyone.

Would you rather wait five years for the final installment in a series or get it now, but must read every spoiler before you can start reading it?

Like I said before I don’t care about spoilers. Also, five years is a bit too long to wait for a sequel, and I don’t think I have that much patience, so yeah I would rather read the book with spoilers.

Would you rather reread your least favourite book monthly or never be able to read your favourite book again?

I generally don’t reread books. So I would rather never be able to read my favourite book again than to read the least favourite book that would put me into a reading slump.

Would you rather read in an isolated cabin that was infested with spiders or in a noisy coffee shop with bad music?

Noisy coffee shop with bad music! Spiders are my worst nightmares so I would rather be anywhere than to be in that isolated cabin infested with spiders.

Would you rather have the ability to read minds, but never be able to read another book or live as you are now and keep reading?

Live as I’m now and keep reading! Reading other’s mind will only ruin our peace of mind, especially when we know what they really think of us. So it’s better not to know anything and be as we are.

Would you rather read a novel based on a true story of someone you know or a fictional novel where a character is based on you?

um.. a fictional novel where a character is based on me.

Would you rather have a book where anything you write in it becomes true or have a book that contains all the knowledge in the universe?

A book where anything I write in it becomes true! Think of all the stuffs I can write and get it within a matter of seconds. How cool that would be! Also, this question reminds me of a TV show named Shaka Laka Boom Boom where a boy used a magical pencil which has the ability to bring things to life drawn using it. I still remember demanding that pencil from my parents when I was a kid😅

Would you rather read a great book full of typos or a terrible book?

I second Eleanor’s answer. Typos and errors will definitely ruin what otherwise would have been a perfect reading experience. Moreover, I would be reluctant to pick a book that will be published by that publication in the future or written by that author. Anyway, to answer the question I would rather read a terrible book than a book full of typos.

Anyone who is interested is welcome to do the tag😊
